Dirt is a perfect racing game for moments when IвЂ™m waiting for something or when there isnвЂ™t enough time to play something big. Dirt 5 is a good looking off road arcade racer with: a career mode which isnвЂ™t a career and isnвЂ™t rewarding enough, a decent car and track selection, good controls, an unbalanced but mostly to easy difficulty. But if I remember correctly there were still some rally events in older dirt games. I knew before buying that this is no Dirt Rally. Maybe this is just me and a lack of skill in some car classes but I get the feeling that the difficulty is just unbalanced in some rare instances. If you didnвЂ™t buy the best car of the class you wonвЂ™t have a chance. But from out of nowhere there are some races that just totally obliterated me. On very hard the most races are still to easy I think. Sadly this can get boring a little to fast.

There is a career modeвЂ¦wellвЂ¦to be honest itвЂ™s just a bunch of different races and challenges you have to do to progress. So itвЂ™s nothing compared to GT Sport or Forza but you can still make your car look good. Car customization is possible, but you can only change sponsors and the sponsor layout, car livery and some complete designs. There are modern rally cars, 90s and 80s rally cars, gt cars, super light cars, big and heavy JeepвЂ™s and so on. Cars do look good, while they arenвЂ™t the best in the genre. The tracks look really good and the variations are okay as well. Car controls feel good and of course are arcady af. That being said, this is an okay arcade fun off-road racing game. But this is just Dirt and thatвЂ™s something you should consider before buying this game. There are modern rally cars, 90s and 80s rally cars, gt I love the Dirt Rally games. Superb EDIT : some slowdown has been introduced in latest patch that wasnвЂ™t there previously, so would deduct 2 points for that. I was totally not expecting the title to be this good.

If only DriveClub could be re-released on PS5 with 60FPS, that was the only thing stopping the title being a huge system seller for PS4 and Pro! As a launch title for PS5, I think it has the best graphics on any title, including Miles Morales & Demon Souls ! I donвЂ™t think Dirt 5 marketing team have really promoted this as well as they should have. I have just spent 5hrs solid and IвЂ™m addicted to it. The dev team are fairly local to where I live and I am so glad they are back on track with this title. Wheel support is fantastic with good handling feel over different surfaces and conditions and FFB works nicely with a T300RS Thrustmaster. Silky smooth 60FPS graphics in quality mode (same in online races). This is like the DriveClub that was meant to be, only wider variety of vehicle types and surfaces. This is Never bought a Dirt Game since Dirt Rally (PSVR version) but as this was only racing game at launch, took a shot.
